Survival At Sea

In this activity we were put into small groups to negotiate of what we thought was most important to survival.

My personal top 2 were:
-Water because it is essential
-Food because it is also essential

My bottom 2 were:
-Shaving mirror because I didn't see its purpose and rum for the same reason

My team agreed with me on top priority because we all thought water was the most important because of the necesity to life. Most things we agreed on were no where near to mine because I thought more realistically than anyone else and I was more accurate although my group thought I was crazy.

Compared to the expert choices our team was not very accurate but my personal choices like rations and masquito netting were only one off. I did not get one spot on though.

I did have fun with my group because I would alsways threaten to kill everyone of them so I could have their resources and use their bodies as fuel for a fire. Overall this activity was a highly enjoyable activity becasue how our group reacted to eachother.

Tennis ball activity

Let me start off with the fact against what the other team says our team won. Also the other team cheated. We had to pass a tennisball around the circle before the other team. The point of this challenge was to use team work to make a solution that would work the best. We all contributed ideas and then used them to make the best ideas.

Our team used the idea to put our hands right next to eachother and just angled our hands so that the ball would just roll off and land an the other persons. Our plan worked perfectly and was flawless after a little bit of practice. I would do almost everything the same except would have seperated the teams so that both teams would come up with their own ideas not the other team cheating off of our supreme ideas.

Overall I enjoyed this activity because it was fun and not stressful like the worksheets from Project lead the Way.
