  • do it with entertainment, ie, comedy
  • yes done very well
3) As Engineers and Problem Solvers, which topic areas (the choices from the "Show talks related to:" section on the sidebar) are of most interest to us? Justify your answer.
  • Technology
  • we are in an engineering course
  • Engineers improve technology for greater good of people
4) Based on your previous answer, what are 3 talks (videos) on the site that appear like they would be of most interest to you as an Engineer/Problem Solver? Justify your choices.
  • Amber Case: We are all Cyborgs Now-talks about how people use electronics for everything-overuse of tech
  • Bertrand Piccard's solar powered adventure-using solar airplane to go around world-new technology
  • Eben Bayer-are mushrooms the new plastic-new technology to change the world
5)
  • plastics take a lot of energy to make

  • just as strong as Styrofoam
  • only uses energy from mushrooms
6) How could you get involved in the field/technology/issue you chose to hear about? What experience/skills/training/education would you need to learn to get involved with this field?
  • i could get involved by only using organic plastics
  • I don't know what I would need to learn, but Biology would seem important because I would need to know a lot about composition of mushrooms or any other plant used to make plastics
